Health & Insurance
Coworkers who stay for a year or longer will be covered by our general insurance,
as well as health insurance. Should your stay be less than 6 months, please
ensure that you have appropriate insurance to cover incidental medical or
dental treatment.
We advise you to have any outstanding, anticipated medical and dental treatment
completed, before your arrival.
It is also important that you tell us of any physical or mental health problems
prior to your arrival, so that we have a clear picture of your strengths and
weaknesses when placing you in the community.
Coworker Requirements
- Coworkers who join Camphill Holywood should be over the age of 18 years.
- You will be housed in one of the Camphill Holywood houses, or in local families in the town.
- Work in the shop is Tuesday- Saturday, inclusive.
- Sunday and Monday the shop is closed.
- Depending on the needs of the residents, coworkers receive one/two days off per week.
- Monthly pocket-money is £100.00.
- Coworkers who stay for one year will receive a contribution to their holidays of £450.00.
- Holiday periods are: 2 weeks at Christmas / 1 week at Easter / 2 weeks in July
