Helios

"HELIOS", our  Health and  Therapy Centre, has been purpose built to house the Medical and Therapeutic Work in Mourne Grange.

It was  officially opened in  March 2009 by Fionnuala Cooke O.B.E , Chairwoman of the Southern Health and Social Services Board .

'HELIOS' includes  a Consultation Room for visits from the doctor and nurse.

The Dispensary is for medical supplies and is part of the  Community Medicine Management System. Medication is ordered and dispensed here.

Elsewhere in the building there are fully equipped rooms for Massage and Therapeutic Bath Treatments and  Podiatry, while two large studios afford ample natural light for Art Therapy and space for Eurythmy and Speech.

The Building was designed by "Camphill Architects, from Scotland. It has been created in such a way, that its many curved and harmonious forms, the use of richly stained timbers within and without,and its colours and interior design all contribute to create a sense of well-being and healing for those who come for treatment and therapies.
