Social Life
Festivals and seasonal recreational activities are shared with Camphill Glencraig,
though as the little community in Holywood grows, more and more can be generated
around the shop. Evening interest groups of local townsfolk together with
Camphill Holywood, organise art courses, writing groups, folk-music sessions,
all of which use the café as their meeting place. Close by, in the centre
for the Christian Community, coworkers can find additional social and spiritual
activities. Nearby, the Holywood Rudolf Steiner School provides an excellent
education, as well as easy contact with the wider community, for the children
of coworkers in Camphill Holywood.

A community means doing things together. Free time and leisure time is taken together with the residents. Where assistance is required, coworkers are expected to help the residents.
As new residents will join us by next year, the timetable is a future projection. Until they come, the work is as stated, though with day-workers only.
